i just got home (at approx. 12:20AM) and decided that i would take out the garbage, because i probably won't wake up early enough to do it in the morning. it was very dark near the garbage cans, and as i grabbed one to drag it to the street, something scratched my hand, and fell into the neighbors' yard.

the moral of the story?

i have rabies now.
